La Vie En Rose Dress

$348.00

Lenzing Ecovero is a sustainably produced viscose derived from certified wood sources, and it drapes the way you want a maxi to drape -- fluid, lightweight, and with just enough movement that the flutter sleeves and fluttering skirt actually do what their names promise. The lining adds a polished finish and keeps the silhouette clean.

The La Vie En Rose is Bel Kazan's signature shape: a gathered elastic waistband that hits at just the right point, short flutter sleeves, and hidden pockets. Easy to dress up or down, easy to travel in, easy to reach for again and again.

The Black Sumi print is bold and graphic -- a black and white brushstroke-inspired pattern that makes a statement without needing anything else. Note that as with all hand-printed Bel Kazan pieces, print placement will vary slightly from dress to dress.

ABOUT BEL KAZAN

Bel Kazan was founded by designer Belinda Kazanci after a life-changing journey to Bali, Indonesia -- inspired by the flower offerings that lined the streets, the vibrant textiles, and the joyful spirit of the Balinese people.

She left Los Angeles determined to build a socially and environmentally responsible apparel brand from the ground up -- literally. After the brand's first major order, Belinda bought land and built her own factory in Bali, staffed primarily by residents of the local village of Klung Kung, many of whom had no prior garment experience and were trained and supported by the brand.

Today every Bel Kazan piece is cut and sewn to order at that factory, using traditional techniques and original hand-printed designs. It's slow fashion in the truest sense -- made with intention, by people who are treated as family.
