MATERIALS
Fabric: Italian Dream™ Light Denim, 91% Cotton, 7% EME, 2% EA
Made: The cotton is spun, dyed, and woven into fabric at Frank & Eileen's Italian partner mill, located on a European nature preserve. Once the fabric reaches California, cutting, sewing, dyeing, and hand-finishing are completed within a 25-mile radius — a production story that spans two continents but stays close-knit at every step.
Sustainability: Frank & Eileen is a certified B Corp, and every fabric produced at their Italian mill can be traced back to the field of origin, meeting the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification for the absence of harmful chemicals — an ethically made, slow fashion approach to denim.
CARE
Wash separately in cold water before the first wear to prevent color transfer. After that, machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low.
STYLED BY LADDER
Wear this denim utility dress on its own with leather sandals for warm-weather ease, or layer a fitted tank underneath and add a lightweight jacket once the evening cools down.
ABOUT FRANK & EILEEN
Frank & Eileen was founded in 2009 by former engineer Audrey McLoghlin, who set out to reinvent the button-up for women in a category that had, until then, been designed almost exclusively for men. Named for her Irish grandparents, the brand has grown into a certified B Corp and remains 100% woman-owned and woman-led. Frank & Eileen built its name on sourcing the world's finest Italian fabrics, partnering with a family-owned mill in Italy for fully traceable, ethically produced textiles before finishing each piece close to home in California.
