ABOUT APIECE APART

Apiece Apart was born from a road trip through West Texas — co-founders Laura and Starr, both NYU alumni, set out to solve a shared frustration: a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. The result was a label built around intentional wardrobe building, designing foundation and statement pieces that mix, match, and layer across a lifetime of wear.

Guided by a deep social and environmental conscience, Apiece Apart makes business decisions that prioritize people and the planet — from investing in regeneratively grown cotton through their partnership with Oshadi Collective in India, to eliminating conventional plastic polybags in favor of FSC-certified, curbside-recyclable packaging. Their design mantra — "can she wear it at least once a week?" — keeps the focus where it belongs: on the woman wearing the clothes, not the other way around.
