Taos Top

Product Details

The Taos Top is a boxy, midweight hemp-cotton jersey tee that earns its place as a genuine wardrobe staple — softly textured, a little cropped, and cut with a subtle boat neck that flatters without trying.

The 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton blend gets better with every wash, and the garment-dye process gives each piece a slightly lived-in softness and subtle color variation that makes it feel chosen rather than bought off a rack.

CARE

Machine wash cool, gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not use bleach, spot cleaners, or enzyme-based detergents. Avoid washing with zippers, velcro, or textured fabrics to prevent pilling.

STYLED BY LADDER

The slightly cropped, boxy cut pairs naturally with high-waisted pants or a wide-leg trouser — tuck it loosely or let it sit at the hip, and the hidden side pockets make it as functional as it is easy.

ABOUT JUNGMAVEN

Jungmaven was founded in the early 1990s by Robert Jungmann, a surfer and activist who set out to prove that hemp could be both high-quality fashion and a genuinely regenerative force for the planet — at a time when no one in the industry was paying attention to either.

Every Jungmaven piece is cut and sewn in California by Garment Authority certified partners, and the brand has been a vocal advocate for hemp legalization since 1994 — work that helped lead directly to hemp being made legal to grow in the United States again with the 2018 Farm Bill.

From a peer-to-peer resale platform that extends garment lifespans to organic-certified cotton and responsibly sourced hemp, Jungmaven builds sustainability into the structure of the brand — not as a footnote, but as the reason it exists.
