A linen-cotton blend tank in Alex Mill's signature Garcon fit -- slightly boxy, true to size, and cut with that easy French-workwear sensibility the brand does so well.

At 55% linen the fabric has a natural breathability and gentle texture, softened by the 45% cotton content into something that drapes a little more fluidly than straight linen and feels genuinely comfortable against skin on a warm day.

The roasted bean and white stripe is an earthy, warm-toned take on the summer classic.

Sustainability: Alex Mill produces in small batches to reduce waste, does not incinerate or dispose of unsold inventory, and partners with Fabscrap -- a textile-recycling non-profit -- to divert fabric scraps from landfill. Since 2018 the brand has saved an estimated 1,941 lbs of fabric through this program.

ABOUT ALEX MILL

Alex Mill started in 2012 as a simple shirt shop in a former bakery on Elizabeth Street in Soho -- co-founder Alex Drexler just wanted to make the perfect shirt and built a loyal following from there.

In 2019 the brand expanded when Somsack Sikhounmuong, former Creative Director of J.Crew and Madewell, joined as co-founder and design director, bringing a shared conviction that getting dressed should be easier and better: not more clothes, but the right clothes.

The New York-based brand is known for its meticulous attention to detail, vintage and archival references, and a commitment to small-batch production and thoughtful use of materials.
