Chris Shirt

The silhouette of the Chris is inspired by a classic relaxed mens shirt with a box pleat detail at the back, a shirt tail and accentuated side gussets.

Plaid

This style is hand block printed in a combination of two different plaid patterns and shades. A deep navy fuchsia plaid mixed with a green and Marin geometric layout . The mix and match patterns gives playful yet subtle look. The fabric we used for this style is our hand spun silk cotton, the semi transparent texture and slight sheen of this textile elevates and gives a twist to this plaid shirt . 

Stitch Poplin

Prior to making the garment the fabric has been folded and stitched through the fold. The stitches are later removed revealing a perforated texture and if you look closely you will notice the tiny, tiny holes through out the garment. This intricate technique is very labor intensive but it adds both texture and a unique interest to the garment.I n the spirit of this we also decided to let some of the folded fabric stay folded in areas like the cuffs and for the edges to be raw.

Stripe

The fabric of this shirt is a light weight cotton blend which has been block printed in a classic bengal stripe pattern. We love that the fine stripe block print that gives a more organic feel to this classic. Buttons are Mother of Pearl .
