MATERIALS
Fabric: lightweight hand block-printed cotton
Made: Ethically handmade in India by skilled artisans in collaboration with World of Crow founder Shaila Khubchandani. Each skirt takes four days to complete — three days of hand block printing, one day of cutting and finishing — using a process that requires no electricity and leaves room for the beautiful irregularities only a hand-carved block can make.
Sustainability: Dyed with azo-free dyes.

ABOUT WORLD OF CROW × LADDER
This skirt is part of an exclusive collaboration between LADDER and World of Crow, the New York-based slow fashion label founded in 2011 by designer Shaila Khubchandani.
The collection was born from a January trip to India, where LADDER founder Dre worked directly with Shaila and her team of artisans to develop a print and silhouette made exclusively for this partnership — a piece that couldn't exist without the conversation between two independent designers who share a commitment to craft, intentionality, and clothing made to last.
World of Crow builds everything on the belief that getting dressed should feel like a celebration — using handwoven and hand block-printed fabrics, organic cotton, azo-free natural dyes, and fair labor practices that support artisan communities across India.
